Velvet Ashes have been playing in the field of acoustic singer-songwriter Indie folk since 2009. Influenced by various music styles but without being restricted by any one of them, a range of instruments underpin the mostly two-part vocal line. The song lyrics unfold tales of heart-wrenching tragedy and subtle comedy that could have been taken from real life.
