BARCELONA (10-10-2013) 

I was always attracted to the idea of how complicated and rich the human beings are, and by the numbers that evaluate the quantity and the quality of things, and of life. 

Every individual that we cross by, have stories,memories, relations, emotions, feelings and energy. Each one had his first steps, his first talks, his happiest or saddest moments and events. 

From these thoughts, I decided to count people on some simple ordinary journeys, by walking from a place to another sharing the same “present” with the enormous infinite lives crossing by .

The audio present the “sound” of one journey, starting from my bedroom all the way to my studio space. Every tap on the microphone is equal to one person that I crossed by. 
In this specific walk, I counted 3219 lives.

Randomness is the quality or state of lacking a pattern or principle of organization; unpredictability. One way of thinking about "randomness" is that it is a way of expressing what we don't know.
60 sec…An Abstract Story was recorded and produced live on the 11/04/18 at 16:01:07 and lasted till 16:02:07.                                                            A series of random numbers are recited consecutively while focusing on the "inner speech"; the reflections, thoughts, feelings, complex conversations and analyses going through my mind, on that specific 1min in the space-time. The additional sounds were recorded and extracted from the street in the very same 1 min.

60 Sec…An Abstract Story

My body of work is concerned in questioning and protesting many of the world’s human conflict and human nature, including my own.
As an Interdisciplinary artist, I put my body and mind within particular situation for the viewer to watch and consider, or putting the viewer into a physical environment to wander, look and wonder.
Time, Repetition and Numbers are key indicators of the process and often work as a means for me to understand, explore and observe my practice, in which long duration processes and documentations are strongly present.
I work within the political, social and personal art realm in a way where the viewer has space to think through. 
My work is not declarative, right or wrong. I am simply laying out a situation for consideration and provocation
