GaiaLive Internet Radio, the world's first Internet Radio station. Established in late 1995, set-up by DJ Redz (Freek FM), Mr C (The Shamen) and Steve Kennedy. Taken over subsequently and still owned/run by Timothy Paul Read.
Oliver Way had a weekly mid week show where he showcased the latest releases in House & Techno, and occasionally had a guest mix. This is UK Techno DJ/Producer Paul Mac (Stimulus Records) guest mix from sometime in that period, circa 1998.

Marseille based producer, Damien Lapéna launched ELYAS project on Modularz (LA), around ten vinyl releases released between 2012 and 2016. 

During this period he had the chance to play in prestigious places in Europe such as: Tresor, Berghain, Corsica studio, Cassette club, as well as in New York where he shared the line-up with artists such as: Function, Pfirter, Developer, Grindvik.

He released over 30 vinyls with different projects and collaborated with artists such as: Jerome Sydenham, Perc, Dustin Zahn, Orlando Voorn and many more.

Released in 2022, "Beat That House EP" was the first Ghetto-tech oriented release on Seclusion. Crafted in authentic Chicago style, the EP was a collaborative effort between specialists Geto Mark and the renowned DJ Deeon. Label boss Elyas now steps in to deliver a remix infused with his signature raw techno flair, blending it seamlessly with ghetto sounds.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @elyas13130sp for its 113th episode of Amplify Series.

Marseille-based producer Damien Lapéna launched his ELYAS project on the renowned Modularz imprint from Los Angeles. Between 2010 and 2016, he released over 35 vinyl records across various projects, collaborating with industry heavyweights such as Jérôme Sydenham, Perc, Dustin Zahn, and Pfirter.

During this period, he performed at some of Europe’s most prestigious venues, including Tresor, Berghain, Corsica Studios, and Cassette Club, as well as in New York. His sets saw him share the stage with influential artists like Function, DJ Nobu, Developer, and Grindvik.

After a long hiatus, ELYAS returned in 2020 with fresh inspiration and a renewed creative vision. Since then, he has released new material on Soma Records, Ben Sims' Symbolism, and The Infamous Player, marking a new chapter in his career with a signature blend of raw, driving techno.

In addition to his production work, ELYAS is the founder of Seclusion, a label dedicated to showcasing forward-thinking, raw techno. With Seclusion, he creates a platform for like-minded artists who share his passion for deep, hypnotic, and powerful sounds that push the genre’s boundaries.

A true artist at heart, ELYAS is dedicated to the art of DJing in its purest form, delivering high-energy, vinyl-only sets that showcase his deep connection to music. Manchester’s Cleric makes his Soma debut with the Twenty Fourteen EP. Having firmly stamped his name on the global Techno scene over the last few years on various labels and more recently is own CLERGY label, the young producer seeks to continue this run of form with this new 4 tracker. 

Cleric wastes no time with opening track ‘Nowhere Fast’ with it’s bone crushing percussive workouts leading the charge. The slightly more subtle Moxie picks up the baton. Bouncing rhythmic structures give way to a gentle pad midway through yet still retains a forward moving template. Dualistic Soul ups the tempo yet sees Cleric embarking on more of a journey - taking things from his punishing rhythms into more melodic territory. Closing out this debut Soma EP is Arctic Circle, it’s beginnings leaning on more sub heavy elements to create a dark and forceful track backed as usual with Cleric’s shifting rhythms. 

A great example of the new breed of UK Techno producers, Cleric is a welcome addition to the Soma roster.
