The passing of his great-grandmother just three years before the album's unveiling, followed by his great-grandfather's departure a month later, served as a poignant reminder of their unbreakable bond.

Yet, amid his cherished connections with his grandparents, Elyjah carried a burden of guilt for not being present during their final moments, mirrored in the lyrics of "Mr. Exclusive's" opening track, "You can't get in touch with me because that's not how I'm moving."

In response, Elyjah made a pivotal choice—to wholeheartedly embrace his musical gifts and channel them with newfound dedication. Thus began his debut project, a heartfelt dedication to the memories of his grandparents.
