Meet Shry, a 21-year-old DJ who has been in the music industry for just four months—yet it already feels like a dream come true. His journey has been shaped by countless inspirational artists, both from his time attending raves and throughout his DJ career. Among those who have influenced him the most are Azdat, Klang Kuenstler, Jayron, and Vieze Azbak.

For Shry, being a DJ and producer isn’t just about playing music—it’s about expressing passion and character through every track. He stays up to date by spending hours daily on SoundCloud, which he finds to be the most comforting platform for discovering new music.

Every rave he’s attended has reinforced his appreciation for the incredible passion of local Maltese artists. However, his biggest inspiration is his mentor, Shwarz Ice, alongside Almost Human, Millo, and Obsequent.

For Shry, the most rewarding part of being a DJ is seeing people connect with his music. Coming from a background where music was his only constant, his success in the industry means everything to him.
