dont keep the last dance sacred and sequestered,
sleep until the worst of this is left in the dust behind
it feels like the last chance for sweet reconcile,
now manifold and manifested.....
shaky bones instead of bleeding out on the kitchen floor

                 chapel bells and sweet cathedrals sing until the end
                                        who's left to let their pride fall?

i was in a heavy-handed state of mind,
 i was twice the man and only half as kind
i was halfway home and already broken-hearted

in the early evening's loss of inhibition,
