Just listened to "The Other Side" again, Elza. The experience always moves me emotionally, but it actually left me breathless tonight. Tonight I opened up Spiritually to you and heard the breadth of your vocal range while at the same time experiencing (as if your soul was connected to me) the depth of your emotional range. Incredible song and increadible performance. Confratulations!

BIO:
Elza is as unique as her name. She possesses that rare ability to be vulnerable, almost naked on stage. Pulling from a palette of blues, jazz, folk and pop she creates her own distinguishable sound which she aptly calls, "Acoustic-Soul." Elza's disarming combination of strength and vulnerability can be attributed to her unusual childhood and life experiences. She grew up back and forth between her father in Frankfurt, Germany and her mother in Charleston, SC. Elza's voice will move you by the way she simply bares her soul. She's so down to earth you'd never know that she's shared the stage with Train, Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, Martin Sexton, Andrea Bocelli, and Jessica Simpson. She is equally passionate about leading her artist mentoring programs and performing as she is to making a difference through her music.

Elza's music has been featured on numerous network series including the CW's hit series "Smallville", ABC and NBC. Thirteen of Elza's songs were featured in "Hopkins" an award winning medical documentary on ABC and subsequent mini-series by Producer Terry Wrong at ABC including "Boston Med and most recently, "NY Med." She has played such legendary stages as the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Eddies Attic in Atlanta, Winterfolk Festival in Toronto, Sweetwater in San Francisco, The Mint in Los Angeles, The Clearwater Music Festival in New York as well as, Makor, The Oak Room, The Livingroom, The Cutting Room, The Towne Crier & The Bitter End to name a few.
