In this segment we will be discovering and nurturing emerging talent. By offering them a chance to exhibit their style(s) and by showcasing what tracks do it for them. There is no fixed criteria to this segment. It's all focused on emerging talent - regardless of social media presence, releases, or being active on the live circuit. The only prerequisite is prevalent passion. As you already know, we at Chronicles are not limited by any genre bias. All genres are welcome. The essence of this segment is the anatomy of the mix and the technical skills utilised to create that story.

Since I can't find the words to express what I feel, this is medium through which I communicate with you all and present my interpretation of "The End of the Journey". Ali Israr Swati is an emerging DJ from Pakistan. Commonly known by his DJ name 'SWATI', he started playing music in 2018 after keenly observing every element of it for more than 12 years. He considers himself a servant of music and tries to promote it mainly through playing Deep, Melodic, Progressive, Soul, Afrohouse.
His belief about music in making the world a better place and getting back lost virtues like love, peace, harmony and unity through it is very strong. He considers himself a free being while playing and wants to transfer that energy to every listener. And one day, Music will bring back peace!

Usually it is very difficult for me to play my heart out at raves but the hosts at the retreat made it so easy as they were open to new forms of sounds. At first, I did not want to release this as there are some imperfect moments in this mix. But after being confronted with my own imperfectionism and realizing, that having cake and tea with my demons is the only way to get to the core of myself, I thought screw perfectionism. After this set I was bursting with energy and I could hug every tree on my way to the second set that night. So yes, dancing is a beautiful way, for me one of the best ways, to heal myself in connection with others.
A big shout out to the Hosts, Zainab and Arsalan. Enjoy if you may!
