This is a really old remix of Bring Me the Horizon's 'Can You Feel My Heart?' which I did back in September 2014. I wanted to take the track in a different direction while still maintaining the chillout feel of the original. I downloaded the stems initially for a remix competition, and even though the remix came a little late for it, I still thought the track would be fun to mess around with. It was a really enjoyable  project, and I hope you like it.

Proximity

I was struggling with inspiration and writer's block. After some constructive feedback from a friend, I decided to be creative in the way I approached this track. I layered the drumkit, putting a flanger on one of the snares, and used a range of ambient textures and spaced out the drums. It helped me realise that less is more and sometimes you don't have to overcomplicate things to create a strong melody.

In year 8, we had to make a short soundtrack for a Wallace and Gromit clip. This is a tribute to one group's track. It has been stuck in my head for the last 13 years and I wanted to re-create it with added drums to enhance the creepy feel.
