【As Planetary Dreams】Introduction

Taeji Sawai began his activities as an audiovisual unit called portable[k]ommunity in 2000.

Since then, he has produced ACO's (SONY MUSIC) album "irony," provided sound support for EYE and media artist Daito Manabe, and is a member of the art collective teamLab. He can be said to be one of the driving forces behind the electronic sound scene in recent years. This album, "As Planetary Dreams," is a compilation of his own works.

The album starts with the grand prologue "NEU Summer", followed by M2 "A Story of Marriage, Boys and Kings", which humorously and coquettishly expresses positive vibes, M4 "Alone in Mountain", which has glittering synths that create an uplifting feeling, M5 "I Don't Want My Ears to Hear Me", an industrial pop tune that gives a glimpse of the artist's eccentricity, M8 "H'nogrphy", an ambience track that expresses various emotions with pleasant roses and ornamental sounds, M9 "Check My Head, One Two" and M10 "Mother", which color various scenes with beats.
The album ends with M15 "Rie", a piano piece that Sawai writes in one stroke on the upright piano while adding comfortable electronic sounds.

The original cover art is by animator and character designer Asano Naoyuki.
The artwork was supported by director Seki Kazuaki, who has worked on music videos for Sakanaction, Hoshino Gen, and Perfume.
