They say birds of a feather stick together, and it looks like a few Get Physical birds have flown South for the last bit of winter. To be more specific, it's Get Physical’s turn to take on Miami once again. 

And, true to form, a compilation spanning 18 tracks from friends new and old means we've left no sun-bleached stone unturned. We're talking palm trees, tiny cocktail umbrellas and a hot, sticky helping of techy house, sexy vocals and shore-worthy buildups from the likes of label mainstays DJ Pierre, Ryan Murgatroyd, Tom Budden, Emanuel Satie and Hector Couto -who's strung the whole compilation together for your continuous listening pleasure. Also featured are fresh faces like Eagles & Butterflies, Mobius Strum and System of Survival, whose numerous contributions to the release make for some very welcome organic percussion and laid-back vibes of their own. Also featured is Tom Peters, who returns to Get Physical after appearing on our last Full Body Workout to team up with a certain Honey Dijon for the Miami bonanza. The third and final instalment from the ‘Charmer Remixed’ series features reworks from Darius Syrossian, Emanuel Satie and Shit Robot; more dancefloor gold offered up by the man with the golden mask.

Throughout 2017, the three-part ‘Charmer Remixed’ project has seen tracks from Claptone’s debut album reworked; a collection of remixes which close the curtain on the ‘Charmer’ chapter but leave us all wanting more and anticipating what he has planned for us next.
 
The final EP in the series features three peak-time cuts, including a typically powerful weapon from the UK tech-house luminary Darius Syrossian, a classy remix from hotly-tipped Berlin producer Emanuel Satie and finally a deep and dark interpretation from DFA mainstay Shit Robot.
 
Part 3 concludes a project which has also seen reworks from Justin Martin, Timo Maas, Format:B, Raumakustik  and Superlover.

Berlin based producer Robosonic combines with Dutch producer Ferreck Dawn to release on Kittball Records this October, with two originals and remixes from Guz and Deepshakerz.

With an extensive back catalogue including releases on Get Physical, Defected and Simma Black, Cord Labuhn aka Robosonic has garnered a reputation for producing high quality house influenced by the sounds of US Hip Hop and soul, whilst Amsterdam raised Ferreck Dawns lengthy career has seen a plethora of releases on the likes of Relief and Toolroom. 

This collaborative release fully encompasses the fresh and deep sound of Kittball Records.The duos Nine to Phife offers delectable piano riffs on top of layered of vocal samples, metallic percussion and spaced out pads, before Were There demonstrates hypnotic melodies and ethereal atmospheres that create space for the vocal to be warped, whilst skilfully crafted drum loops underpin the composition.

Next up, Amsterdam based Guz contributes his take on Nine to Phife as airy utterances of the tracks title float above an elastic bass hook and powerful rhythms, before Italian duo Deepshakerz close the release in style with their remix of Were There, utilising an infectious melody that smoothly interacts with modulated vocal licks.
