Yam Who?'s Midnight Riot label is one of the big daddies of the current nu-disco scene. His eponymous compilation series are known for their ridiculously high levels of quality and this latest one is no different - there's a whopping 24 tracks to choose from. Strangely the label boss doesn't seem to appear this time round but we do get the silky electro-house of Digital Human's "You're My Last Chance", the killer cyborg electro-funk of 80s Child's "Contagious" and the other-worldly deep-jacking soul of "U Know How To Love Me".

Our guest in Hour 2 is the legendary John Morales, having started his DJ career in the Bronx, NYC in the eighties, he started editing and remixing his favourite tracks and went on to be responsible for over 650 remixes alongside Sergio Munzibai. Their remix partnership was so prolific from underground disco and boogie to major artists in a career spanning 30 years. Naturally it's a mix of classic disco tracks from the likes of Teddy Pendegrass, Alphonso Mouzon, The Dells, Curtis Hairston and Henderson & Whitfield.

This song was originally part of the same album as "You can't hide from yourself" and was another major club hit. Again it was never released on a DJ Friendly 12" single nor even remixed. It is the FIRST time the multitrack masters of it have been released and I was able to remix it from the very original recording. Other versions by K.W.S and recently on the East End bootleg label are actually from a british "copycat" re-recording done in the 90's. Beware of imitations as they say ;)
