Wonderful piece, only music remained of the entire Monteverdi opera "Arianna", known as "Lamento d'Arianna". This is the moment when Arianna, the famous heroin belonging to the Greek myth, finds outs to have been abandoned by Teseo on a rock, and sings all her desolation.
This interpretation shows what Early Baroque music means to me and my idea of interpretation pursued during many years of research: support the voice but believe to be an actor through the use of the text.

Gracias A La Vida

I recently wrote this song. It is a form of ballad and it's a funny storytelling, a way to 'embrace' the life in my 'other' country, which is Wales, and my life with my 'other' family, my dear husband first of all and little things of our life. As I said, in a funny way: a 'cuppa' (cup of tea), the greavy with the roast beef, pints of lager and 'cwtch' on the seti'. "tough' life, in the Taff Valley, in the tough game of life". Ha ha

I have many lives, like cats, and many interests, a lot of music in my ears and heart and a lot of activities. As a performer and vocal coach, singing tutor and teacher, I found it is very important to be able to explain and demonstrate that it's possible to use our voice in different ways, and rely on a solid technique to develop and improve ourselves.
