I've always loved how similar the chord progression is to Fallen Down.

a Song highly based on parents doing a bad job at being a "Parent" and instead of helping their Child, they instead think about making theirselves happy first before the Child that did not even ask to be born.

now this is actually not very related to IRL me at all, I have a.. cool dad ig, are we close? no, is he a good person? maybe, is he a bad parent? definitely.

regardless this song wasn't all supposedly just for my dad and how i felt through song, but instead a imaginative world where "I" was a bad father, looking down at my child, doing a bad job.. im sure most parents are doing a bad job but that doesn't make them a bad person or aren't trying, they  just REALLY suck lol

depends of course, im not gonna list the type of parents or people just so you can relate, I'd rather let you think what it is to be a parent and how hard it is, help each other like what 'families do' (cant relate to that one kinda)
