L.A-based producer Damon Sharpe is a Grammy- and ASCAP-award winning producer and songwriter with a firm footing established in both the mainstream and dance music worlds. He is set to grace the STNS imprint with his latest single, "Man of the Year," which revolves around a fresh take on the critically received hip-hop record by Schoolboy Q of the same name. The languid yet merrymaking vocal hook from the original assumes an entirely new existence in its guttural, pitched-down form, which is further elevated by the track's thrashing synth plucks, dribbling basslines, murky undertones and quavering fills.
