A few months ago, my 12-year-old son introduced me to the epic anime, Demon Slayer, and I immediately fell in love. The artistry... the storytelling, it sucked me right in! I created this arrangement as an homage to this amazing anime, and I orchestrated using Embertone's Intimate Strings, and Walker Concert D Piano. Thanks for listening!

Intimate Solo Strings Bundle - Demon Slayer - Tanjirou Kamado No Uta

I recently challenged myself to make an expanded string quintet arrangement around the theme from the popular anime, DEATH NOTE. My son got me hooked on a couple other shows, namely Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan. Death Note will be the next show I binge watch :).

The theme has an interesting meter (alternating 13/8 and 14/8), and it's extremely stark and transparent: just a melody and a bassline. I tried to make the orchestration as colorful and interesting as possible, using only solo strings. It takes on a much different vibe from the original - almost sounds like something Stravinsky would write!

And then after sitting on the arrangement for a while, I couldn't resist but to add a subtle bass synth pulse, just to fill out the bottom end.

Hey there,

here is a little testing of the Embertone Joshua Bell Violin. This short piece took me about 1.5 hours. I played it in with my masterkeyboard and just edited it a little bit. You even could go deeper with that vsti. I got almost all the solo violins out there these days. This one IMO is the strongest i have ever seen. Check it out!
