I made the beat in this song a long time ago, just a rap beat sampling the postal service... and then I didn't know what to do with it or how to release it. It just sat there collecting dust on my hard drive for a long time... until I was looking at beatport's remix competitions and I realized the major lazor song would go perfectly with my old beat :)
I got lucky, most remixes are built around the vocals... this one was easy, i just added the vocals over my old beat and that was that!

Bach's prelude from the first cello suite is perhaps the most famous song ever written for the cello. The strangest part about this piece is that it was written with virtually NO notations on how to play it. All there are are the note-- Bach, or his wife who copied it did not leave any clue as to the dynamics, accents, bowings, etc.

This means that this famous piece has always been entirely up to the individual performer to interpret how to play it, and it leaves room for each cellist to put their own unique touch on it

My cello teacher told me once that "music is a lot more then just notes on a page"

This is my attempt to write in my own notes that were unwritten, to infuse it with my own emotions, and share in a new way the passion and beauty of J.S. Bach's masterpiece

This song is for everyone who loves  space!

The astronaut voices are sampled from the CBS News live broadcast of the Apollo 11 moon landing (The first mission to send men on the moon)

Throughout the whole song and solo'd at the beginning and end you can hear ambient noise type sounds, these were sampled from from actual space recordings made by the Nasa Voyager Spacecraft (The recording i sampled is "Song of Earth")

HEY EVERYONE I NEED YOUR FEEDBACK ON THIS! SHOULD I KEEP IT UP OR TAKE IT DOWN?? I am unsure about releasing this, and might take it down any time!!

This has been sitting around on my computer for awhile, i never released it because i've never been fully satisfied with the production value... there were a bunch of timing issues involved with chopping and arranging the stems, that i couldnt get quite right. and my cello playing and audio engineering of live cello i feel isn't at all at a professional level!!

i know it's bad form to release a track you don't think is fully polished or ready... but i don't really care, i just want to make art and give it to the world. Even if it isn't perfect, it will give me a chance to learn and become better, and hopefully some of you guys will enjoy it!

The Orion theme and pyramids/star is an homage to the 'orion correlation' theory of Robert Bauval... I am a believer in his theories as well as those of Graham Hancock about a lost civilization. They are both personal heroes of mine, look them up!

This track is just something I made for it's own sake, not to fit into any kind of genre, I have no clue what to call it so I went with "heaven trap" because I tried really hard to give this track really expansive, vibey feel with lots of big pads, reverb, and YES there are guitar samples in there taken from Underoath's "it's dangerous business walking out your front door" (you can hear it best at 1:36) :)

ALSO: I made this track with only shitty $10 headphones for mixing... I have no idea if the drums or something else are too loud in the mix. producer friends, please let me know and I will fix it.
