For episode 66 of LGCY FM we have Seattle native @kennyb0unce (Kenny Bounce)! 

"What up! My name is Ken and I also go by Kenny Bounce. I was a band geek growing up (shoutout to my percussionists & drummers) and was that kid in school who always burned mixtape CDs for his friends and girls he wanted to impress. That easily translated into my love and desire to become a DJ and turntablist. In 2018, after attending my first Soulection show, I made a promise to myself to give it a shot and learn the art form the right way. I love all genres of music as long as it can keep the crowd bouncin! You can catch me at my monthly residency at Forum Social House in Bellevue or around Seattle playing with other DJ homies!

My mix is inspired by dance music from around the world, with huge influence from the  future beats club scene I admire in Europe. I wanted to bring a unique groove and funk with samples and flips of familiar hit songs, while still having high energy with drops and nasty beats! This was a great chance for me to feature and show love to the producers from all over the globe who made the edits in my mix such as HYALYTE (Belgium), Franchise & Don Mayor (Netherlands), Naken (Indonesia) and BRLLNT (Korea). I hope to introduce you guys to some new flavors and sounds and that this mix can keep y’all dancing and bouncing! Thank you LGCY for giving me the opportunity to be featured!"

I am extremely grateful to have had this wonderful opportunity to DJ on the same lineup as Gryffin, Said the Sky, Louis the Child, Snakehips, Tycho, Big Wild, and many other amazing artists. (fun fact: walked 40 min to the tidal basin during peak bloom with a suitcase holding my mini mobile dj setup. sat down and spun this set not knowing how it would reach but was so touched by the folks who came up to me about the music i played. it was beautiful <3)
