Súya has been into music since he was a kid. After playing the piano for several years his passion for electronic music evolved. As a DJ he played all over the place in Amsterdam and Holland, including places like OT301, Bret, Red Light Radio, ADE, Doornroosje, and more recently in Guatemala and Mexico.

He's one of the guys behind the Klokwerk collective, hosting awesome parties in Amsterdam. This mix is filled with groovy and sometimes dusty house records, played with vinyl only.

Esencia 022 - Súya

We reached out to Amsterdam's Súya as we are big fans of his mixes, and asked if he would like to do one for Somewhere Down There. Thankfully, he agreed, and graced us with this wonderful mix.

When providing the mix, Súya said "When I think of Australia, beautiful nature and long drives come to mind. Reminding me of driving to parties when me and my friends were about 16 years old. We didn't have a driver's license, but we would drive for two hours to the other side of the Netherlands to go to a beach club in Bloemendaal. 

The first hour of the mix is inspired by driving to and being at a party with your friends. The second hour portrays a kind of 'late night driving' vibe while driving home, still being in the mood."

Somewhere Down There on PBA FM 89.7 - #78 - 27/8/20 mixed by Súya

Focus EP (KEYRECS002) featured by @mateodufour, a young talented musician born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is one of the most promising artists from South America and an important member of Key Record's team, as A&R.

The release contains 3 originals tracks, with solid basslines and fresh beats, 100% analog sounds from Nord, Roland HS60 and JP08 for the stabs.
The EP also includes a dope remix of Betoxic by the young Dutch bomber M-High, who adds emotional pads, some sticky notes on the melody and a unique piano solo.

Mateo Dufour - Direction (Preview)

It's our 15th release and this time we are excited to welcome our Dublin born friend and part of the DOMUS Music extended family, the talented Andrew Azara for his first debut EP on the label.

The lead track Onyx contains bright hats layered with tight drums following a dominant lead sound with a real house feel which flows throughout; undoubtedly creating a 'hands in the air' moment with this record.

The B side Quartz is a lovely dubby rolling groove with warping pads and piercing hats, one for either the warmers or peak time, a must have for any usb.
