After many many years of extensive study & intensive experimentation with myself as the Guinea Pig...I have conclusive hard-earned evidence that LOVE is the best damn drug in the world...!!!  That's right...the incomparable, bittersweet, & at times, ephemeral....THE WORLD FAMOUS......oh yeah...I almost forgot...WEST COAST!!!

I just posted up a new song,"MY BABY (peer pressure sucks!").  The track is based on true story of me liking this 'less than perfect' girl While I was attending Ravenwood Middle School, East Palo Alto, California  USA.  I was really into this delightful gal...but the PEER PRESSURE from my fellow class-mates caused me to second-guess my feelings & my heart & ultimately I stayed away from her...& it's a decision I regret.  It's not COOL to go around hurting the feelings of someone else...who has been nothing but NICE & ACCEPTING of YOU...I notch this one up as a lesson I had to learn the HARD WAY!!!

Depending on which side of the fence you fall on...it may seem as elusive as an apparitional ghost or it may seem to be the CHERRY on TOP & the SWEET ICING on the CAKE that always DELIVERS!!!  From the people I personally know...HOW MANY ARE SEPARATED & NO LONGER IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER/MOTHER OF THEIR CHILDREN???  HOW MANY COUPLES I PERSONALLY KNOW FROM THE YEAR 2000...WHO ARE STILL TOGETHER IN 2011??? BUT WHEN IT'S THE RIGHT PERSON...& YOU'VE COME TO A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR OWN BEHAVIORS, PATTERNS, & FLAWS...THEN IT'S SOMETHING WORTH FUC%*&$ FIGHTING FOR...RIGHT? I wrote & recorded this song with the lil' homie Jason Chavez in mind.  Since after the time we were room-mates...on our separate but close paths..Jason has been through SOOOOO MUCH...likewise with myself during that same time...many of those same things being almost identical in nature in both of our lives, as well as being totally divergent & radically different from each other.  Jason Chavez is one of very select few in my INNER CIRCLE  that I trust with my LIFE.  I even have  family members that I will NEVER TRUST that much.   There are even people I've known alot longer that I would never give my unfaltering LOYALTY to.  As Jason prepares to move to Los Angeles..I'm moving myself (just not as far)...MOVING IS & will ALWAYZ be a PAIN IN DA ASS..but it's ESSENTIAL...SHEDDING ONE'S SKIN IS ALWAYZ  complicated.  This is for you JASON...anytime you need that lil' something-something...that I said I had for you...just holla...it's HERE..waiting for you...oh yeah...WEST COAST  BIIIIOOOOOOTCHESSS!!!

I wrote this song for a particular person in my life...a close homie I've known since Middle School...I won't mention his name & put him on blast but I've made my feelings & thoughts very clear on numerous occasions to him...so this shouldn't come as a big suprise! As he reads this...please know that we can agree to disagree & I still got your back...but only a true friend is going to tell you the TRUTH...I know your father bailed out on you & his father bailed out on him...& I know your baby's mothers are always making it real difficult to be in their lives...but you have 3 young hansome boyz...who need YOU!!! I'm forever here to be part of your supporting cast...just holla...& I'm on my way!!!

Today Sunday 03/11/12...it was such a NICE day outside...so I headed over to the park 2 blocks away from my current address with some of my equipment & made MUSIC.  I thought to myself..."I have nothing to complain about" today...well actually I could complain...but what would be the point???  The sun is out, with a lil chill, I'm healthy as far as I know, I feel good, I have alot to be thankful for, & I'm alive...nuff said!!!
