Born and raised in NYC, Emcee City was influenced by east coast rappers including Nas, Jay-Z, Big-L Biggie and Pac. From writing rhymes in a notebook in high school, (circa 2003), he began recording verses in 2005 and posting them to YouTube. From 2005-2011, he built a fanbase of 5,000+ and began to find his identity. After taking a haitus from music and building a career in the entrepreneur/startup space for a few years, Emcee City is back to record quality music for his fans and future listeners.
