I thought I'd spend one evening making Psytrance and just upload it whatever it sounded like at the end of the day. Not really Psytrance I suppose, but that is a relief TBH.

Ketapasando presenta su segunda referencia en formato físico, un vinilo 12" de 180gr, con una edición con portada a color, el diseño es una analogia gráfica del título del disco "Dark Blue Abyss". Su máxima es cuidar tanto la parte plástica como la musical. En cuanto al contenido, se trata un split dedicado a los ritmos duros y profundos. Con tracks de dos habituales del sello: Brickturd y Elusive. El disco también contiene dos remixes de lujo, mezclas mas potentes y contundentes que las originales si cabe, para ello nos hemos rodeado de artistas que hacen de lo extremo su punta de lanza, Safo, Gata Diabla Y Agnès Pe. Un disco dedicado a los amantes del jarkore.

Ketapasando sigue el camino que comenzó con su primera referencia. El objetivo es seguir exprimiendo el eclecticismo y la miscélánea. Un disco que engloba cortes que van desde los 80 hasta los 380 bpm. Una alegoría a los ritmos duros y contundentes, sin dejar de lado la profundidad y colores que se pueden obtener a muy bajas revoluciones. 5 tracks en un vinilo de 180gr con un diseño exclusivo y característico del colectivo.

En la cara A nos encontramos un trabajo de Brickturd, el mismo tema mezclado desde dos puntos de vista diferentes, el primero mas profundo y espeso, el segundo, mezclado 10 años después del primero nos adentra en un mundo caótico y contundente, con la misma profundidad que la primera mezcla pero mucho mas explosivo. Un track y dos visiones antagónicas con las que exprimir al máximo las progresiones y melodías del tema. 

En la cara B tenemos un track de Elusive, es su primera referencia en vinilo, ritmos salvajes y bien encorsetados entre bombos profundos y puntiagudos, un tema que cualquier hardcoreta querrá tener en su maleta. También encotramos un rework del mismo tema producido por Safoh y Gata Diabla, una vuelta de tuerca mas en el que sacan todo el jugo volviendólo mas loco y estridente pero con un punto sentimental que lo devuelve al equilibrio original del tema. 

Para terminar, un magnífico bonus track, en el último corte de la cara B, Agnès Pe remixea el track de Bricturd y lo pone patas arriba, alteraciones melódicas y rítmicas inimaginables que desembocan en una explosión taquicárdica e hipnótica, un track muy intenso y sofisticado que no pierde de vista la profundidad del original.

Uraño and BNSU lands in AI's Catalog with a noise split that reaches the perfection of loudness. The release explores the bowels of noise, deconstructing assimilation and expressing existential discomfort.

Both sides are full of dynamism and mixed with unclassical rock noise element across more layers of noise and electronics, bringing the work into a new level of expression, that emerges in a vortex of high frequencies and harsh sounds.

The groove of BNSU and the depth of Uraño accompany each other in a cultural and sound symbiosis, the perfect expression of an inter-European musical movement that finds its maximum potential in their infernal live sets.

Both bands represent the potential of modern noise music in their own way, through a contemporary yet classicist approach, which recalls the first industrial movement without neglecting innovative elements and new sound expressions.

Temporary Nites, a Budapest-based advanced electronic media collective, was founded in 2021 by Veleva Milena and Benedek Csaba (noirnite). Their mission is to refresh the local club scene by organizing events that prioritize not only music but also captivating visual shows. With their upcoming album release in October 2023, Temporary Nites demonstrates the diverse range of their taste, featuring tracks that span from soft ambient melodies to crushing free tekno beats. One of the talented artists contributing to this album is Mike Nylons, the electronic music moniker of visual artist János Borsos. Active in the Hungarian scene since the early 2000s, Mike explores various genres ranging from experimental to noise techno. As a co-founder of prominent art collectives such as The Corp., Lőrinc Borsos, and Legion, Mike combines installation arts with live electronic music, creating immersive exhibitions and thematic events in Budapest's art quarter. Mike's creative endeavours embody the spirit of Temporary Nites, blending innovative sounds with captivating visuals.

Temporary Nites is dedicated to revitalising Budapest's club scene by offering unique experiences that transcend traditional event curation. By curating events that feature diverse musical styles and mesmerising visual displays, they aim to create a holistic atmosphere for attendees. With their forthcoming album release, Temporary Nites invites listeners on a sonic journey filled with a vibrant array of tracks, ranging from soothing ambient melodies to high-energy free tekno anthems. This album exemplifies the collective's commitment to pushing artistic boundaries and forging their own path within the electronic music landscape.

Today, we premiere from this VA, Mike Nylons's- Két Láb Jobb. A track that introduces raw and industrial elements, with eerie pads and textured sounds that create a filthy atmosphere reminiscent of a dark warehouse.

GROOVENOISE

Emcsi is a sound artist and producer. Her compositions are rooted in deep personal experiences. She collects and processes field recordings and materials from various sources, including electroacoustic samples. She creates unique and layered textures which build a suggestive and infinite soundscape. Currently studying at the University of Pécs, BA in Electronic Music and Media Arts, she is a host at Lahmacun Radio and a member of ASS Budapest audiovisual workshop.
