Hey, i just wanted to let you know that you really inspired me and woke me up today. I've completely forgotten why i came to parsons and why i wanted to pursue photography. Lately I've been shooting petty, insignificant and miniscule things rather than images that actually send a message. If anything the message i've been sending was of how fun it is to be insignificance or lack relativity or positivity to an actual world and community. I shoot images involving my friend circle, being young and partying and that's not who i came to Parsons as. I'm not saying that i am not motivated, because i very much am, but that my intentions changed and i'm relying too much on little things that are not relevant in the long run. The images are great but not what i want to do or be doing. I really needed someone to remind me of why i am here. I just wanted to say thank you! I hope you keep continuing to remind people of what is going on outside of themselves and where the world is headed. All too often we get caught up in the tiny life. Keep being a genuine human being AND GOOD LUCK AT SDF!
