a. My name is Andriy Kostyukov, dj, producer and co-curator of Motsion audio-visual collective.
From my perspective, I can introduce myself as a music enthusiast that works in the fields of experimental and bass music.
I'm originally from Kyiv, now based in Prague.

q. is there a story behind the mix?
a. It’s a deep listening story about light, melancholy, wind-blown leaf supported by favored Ukrainian and worldwide experimental communities.
The leaf is bleeping, leaping…

q. what's the best way to enjoy your mix?
a. Just stay in one place, try to feel your body, feel your body deeply as the mix gives you the deepest sound characters and tunes, close your mind and just look around your whole life.

q. describe a favorite object in your living room...
a. I love my sofa because it’s the perfect place to take a rest and dig for some music.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
a. For the last few days I am preparing a new live performance for the upcoming summer season, especially for off-ICKPA concert, which is on the 21st of June in Arkaoda bar (Berlin).
Also writing new tracks, as usual, beloved trip routine.

There are artists for which the musical act is both a deep dive into the memory of a buried culture and a celebration of the spirits who have kept its secrets. Jorge REYES is one of them. A true memorialist of Mexican traditions that now belong to the realm of the shadows, Jorge does not dissociate his music from his initiatory quest. His stage performances, which resemble shamanic rituals, blend electronic and ethnic instruments that instantly throw us into the world of nature's spirits. Also collaborating with Steve Roach and Suso Saiz on Suspended Memories, his discography runs from the late 80s until his death in 2009. Izuran pays tribute to this outstanding musician, who inspired and accompanied him on his trip to Mexico, and invites us to connect our inner selves to the spirits and hidden treasures of this world.

Florescere&nbsp;by Jonathan Bousquet is a powerful debut exploring a tapestry of electronic textures, compositional structures, and themes. Bousquet demonstrates a unique ability to forge a cohesive sonic world, employing a diverse array of techniques and sound sources.&nbsp;Florescere&nbsp;is a thoughtfully crafted album revealing itself slowly through rich harmonies and memorable melodies, rewarding repeated listening.

From the opening chimes of Recurrence, the album invites listeners into a multi-layered musical narrative, exploring the dualities of movement and stillness. The second track, How to Make an Exit, investigates form through themes of resolution, entrances, and exits. As the album progresses, Divisible Machine examines how time is measured and how personal perception can alter these measurements, expanding or contracting them.

Listeners are then drawn into Enveloper, a soundscape that evokes a sense of omnipresent time and presence through overtones and an electronic choir. The title track, Florescere, marks a new beginning beyond the constraints of place and time, characterized by jubilant sequences and a resolute low end. The A-side concludes with And the Void Becomes Eloquent, a cyclical composition where repetitions gradually move toward their undoing. The work concludes with a profound sense of rest and ethereal pause on the B-side track, Being, Becoming.

Available on black vinyl, white vinyl, and cassette tape, Florescere features six tracks on side A that blend intricate rhythms and lush textures. Side B presents a 30-minute drone piece, offering a contemplative journey through ambient soundscapes.

Designed by John Brien and mastered by Tom Eaton, each detail of Florescere reflects Bousquet's commitment to crafting a unique auditory and visual experience. With striking letter-pressed sleeves by Monoroid, the album is a tactile delight.
