‘House Of Lions’, was a vehicle that helped Emel overcome her own experience in Domestic violence. Which awakened a new perspective, over coming this to write inspiring music, ‘ I am free speak truth, to spark the courage for many and myself, to know that it’s ok to speak out when you need’

The inspiration for the single & songs for the EP were brought to life by working with Judie Tzuke who had a hit in 1979, “stay with me till dawn” and Richard Cardwell on the project.

I had to go through the dark long winding roads to emerge from the depths and rise giving birth to a new perspective .. Which I’d like to encourage others too by being an example to follow..
