"V for Visconti follows more of my baroque obsessions, using saxophones and French horns in registers traditionally assigned to medieval instruments, in Southern Europe baroque music especially. Through this anachronistic use of modern brass instruments and fast repetitive melodic lines, I was longing to create a feeling of both ancient and new, a sort of medieval retro-futurism. The title is Inspired by the beautiful 15th century Visconti-Sforza tarot deck, celebrating the marriage of Maria Bianca Visconti, also known as the "warrior woman", after she led an army of men and successfully defended the city of Cremona from the Venetians." - Angèle David-Guillou

“You and Me” is a second collaboration single by an ambient project Endless Melancholy and a Canadian singer-songwriter BILYK set to release September 21st, 2018 on all major music digital platforms. The single release will be accompanied by the official video filmed by the German filmmaker and visual artist Roman Hense. Roman has been collaborating with Endless Melancholy and BILYK since 2017 when their first single and the video “One Day You Will Be Free” were launched. 

After releasing a number of successful instrumental albums, Oleksiy Sakevych, a creator, composer and producer of ‘Endless Melancholy’, was keen to explore a new sound incorporating a female voice. This is when he invited BILYK to be a feature singer and co-writer on the project. BILYK shared similar musical style with Sakevych and was ready for new explorations. But when Hense joined the group he concluded a visual expression of the collaboration and set a mood to the existing sound. The big part of the project’s character was established by Taras Blyzniuk after he produced BILYK’s vocals and mixed both singles at Loud Mouse Studios in Toronto. 

The video is a journey visualisation of an internal world of a person who dreams about eternal love.  The main character starts the search for love in the cold world of the past.

Above & Beyond and Seven Lions’ epic collaboration with Sam Burger of Opposite The Other has been the soundtrack to Tony, Paavo, Jono and Jeff’s euphoric summer of touring across the world - ‘See The End’ now receives a pair of remixes to take it into the next chapter of its story. 

The first of these reworks comes courtesy of South Africa’s Daniela Niederer (aka Nora En Pure), a previous curator of Pete Tong’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 and an in-demand name for some of the most revered stages in electronic music - having stepped up to the plate at Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Marquee Las Vegas and Privilege Ibiza over her relatively short career. Her take on ’See The End' intertwines both orchestral and tribal elements, resulting in a refined deep house mix inspired by the darker realms of the genre.

The second ‘See The End’ remix to emerge is from the studio of Nottingham-based producer Glacci, of Plastician’s Terrorhythm Records fame. His experimental rework infuses a wide set of influences, invoking components of grime and psy-trance alongside more contemporary club sounds across its duration.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds.
