Released October 20th Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX is the second compilation of dark electronic club music compiled and curated by Luca Venezia, aka Curses for Eskimo Recordings. A decades spanning collection - featuring a mammoth 49 tracks, spread across 3CDs and three 2LPs.

Originally members of Ukrainian post-punk band Gil’otina, Kyiv based Ivan Kotsyubinsky and Dmitry Shevtsov launched their Hungry Boys side-project in 2020 to experiment with Italo and synth wave sounds. On Toi, their contribution to Curses' new Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX compilation, those influences are on full display, as they mix razor sharp disco beats with mesmerising synth arpeggios, ominous EBM like stabs and vocals that echo off into space.

Space commander Vaälha is a DJ, producer, and event organizer based in Nantes, France. Drawing inspiration from 70s retro cinema and a diverse range of musical genres such as Italo disco, progressive, trance, EBM, and techno, his sets and music production showcase this rich variety. As part of the Neowise project, he released multiple EPs on labels like Nein Records, Ulla, Midnight People, Quixotical, and Nubians of Plutiona. This experience significantly enriched his artistic journey and confirmed his desire to grow with his solo project. His first EP will be released in early 2024. Last year, he joined LENA as a resident DJ, providing him with the opportunity to perform in renowned venues like Macadam, Jardin Moderne, and Le Ferrailleur. New premiere: Stahler @st-ahler aims to spread joy through creating lofty and floating dark disco & indie dance sounds. His melodic indie dance sets are appreciated for their danceable, yet wobbly and deep sounds infused with tasteful influences from the lively 80s, banging Italo Disco and solid Dark Disco tunes, covering wide electronic frequency terrains. Since 2018, Sascha is producing music under his artist name Stahler and released various tracks until today ranging from deep house to indie dance.

Moving from Singapore to Berlin in 2014 Stahler discovered the decks during a night of escalation and synth ecstasy. Shortly after he began playing DJ sets at intimate events & house parties before he started to perform at bigger parties and events, ranging from art exhibitions to clubs and festivals.

Here is his new single is coming with a banging remix by Athens producer Kay-Chi, who just released a fantastic remix for Italo Brutalo and a EP on Epicure, before that he released tracks and EPs on Bungalow Disco, Rare Wiri and the like.
