Silverella is a German independent disco-project, which is based in Munich. Mixing refreshing and innovative sounds. Silverella distinguishes itself with its releases based on Pop music and Nu Disco with 80ies touch. This ambitious project, built on many collaborations and composed of various styles, places itself as a musical influence and aims, nowadays, to place itself as an avant-gardist precursor in its own domain.

This time Silverella teams up with the Greek God of Disco, Dim Zach & French producer Alda. Their two interpretations of Love Me Better give you a glimpse on Emerald & Doreen eclectic spectrum.

Dim Zach is a rare occurence: a charismatic, talented DJ turned prolific producer and songwriter who, having imposed himself through sheer talent and hard work, has become ubiquitous in his country, Greece. A shift many dream of, although few achieve as successfully. And for good reason, blessed with a mission (real name) Dimosthenis Zachariadis rarely fails to generate feelgood emotions, beaming up listeners to the dancefloor of an imaginary Mediterranean nightclub of his own hedonist creation.

A self-confessed work-alcoholic with a relentless output, this multitasker juggles as many projects as he can lay his hands on: remixing new artists as well as old hits, releasing on plethora of major and independent labels, having in time proved himself as seasoned songwriter and live artist in his own right - he's behind electro pop band Liebe with vocalist/guitarist George (three albums to date including, the last, 'Revolution of Love' on Emerald & Doreen). Notwithstanding this punitive studio schedule still allows him to deejay in clubs and host a couple of weekly radio shows on popular stations (his sound does wonders on the airwaves).

It all starts with a deep passionate love for the tunes that make you dance, essentially the golden eras of 80s' funked-up electronic pop and 90s' classic house variations (which combined laid the foundations for today's widespread dance culture). Filling the gap between commercial and underground, Dim Zach opts blindly for a more visceral mantra: good music creates good vibes. A blueprint effortlessly managed on his brand new album gathering fresh compositions as well as remixes of Emerald & Doreen artists (noticeably The Sweeps for which he reworked a full 5-track EP!). 

Operating outside ephemeral trends and limiting tags, 'Endless Summer' digests many distinguished influences (Imagination, Aeroplane, Dubstar, 'Fade To Grey', 'La Serenissima' etc) yet always sounds like the work of his tasteful originator; accessible yet never dishonest, contrived nor stale. Alongside slick beats, rolling basslines, glittering percussive synthesisers and cascades of swirling catchy hooks, the ear-candy melodies on offer, sometimes deliciously naive, are always heartfelt and generous, transcending categorisations and time. Truly the universal beat of love. much valued by his loyal fans.

Just like Dim Zach's  iconic  'Ingredients of Love'  album did in 2021, Dim Zach 'Endless Summer' lands right on time to be part of this summer's indispensable soundtrack, a liberation and new-found freedom to relish with Dim Zach's uplifting songs and exalted melodies.

We are extremely happy to announce Dim Zach’s “Sound of Warm EP” on Emerald & Doreen Records - a newcomer to the label but a seasoned artist of all things disco. Originally from Greece the motto of the EP could not be better suited.
The two featured original tracks are nothing else but cosmic nu disco bombs : “Primal Unleashed” a kaleidoscope of pure balearic energy and a definite 2015 anthem on mediterranean dance floors.  “546 Love” a lush tropical sundowner that immediately beams on a tropical beach, puts a tasty cocktail in your hand and let’s you watch the sunset - with a perfect finish of Robot Scientists - influenced vocoders and a vague hippie attitude.
Pure bliss continues with warm and beautiful reinterpretations of the original tracks and one of Dim’s great anthems: Discomare Sex. Definitely up there in the top 10 of best-ever track names.  Mexico’s John Ugalde is offering a cool Chromatics - inspired alternative mix of the original while David Garcet takes on  the cosmic side of “Primal Unleashed” – Paris76 and Palm Beach offer version of 546Love that are so laid back that you better don’t listen to them if you need anything get done that day. They will literally get your heart beat slower and will make your brain shed out some unleash some nice comfy dose of tranquilization.
We could not refrain from putting your body back in action and added Owen Ni’s minimalistic technoid interpretation of Primal Unleashed at the end of the release. It will hit you like a good shower of ice cold water after a long sweaty day in the sun.

Better known as 1/2 of Greek synth pop band Liebe, Dim Zach recently decided to embark on his own solo project to further show off his love and mastery of 80s synth pop.
When you listen to the first track on Exotic Composites, you are instantly enveloped in lush beats which gradually transform themselves into synth-infused nu disco, cosmic, & smooth house across 12 tracks.

Our favourite tracks on the album, ‘Boys Between Girls’, ‘Time is Running Out’, and ‘Palace’ remind us of a time when dancing in night clubs involved style and panache, elements which are increasingly rare in today’s clubbing era.

JAQUES LE NOIR, better known as Giacomo Bisciarri aka BSHARRY entered the scene in 2014. Ever since he's been featured numerous times in the top of the Beatport charts, Traxsource, Dj Tunes, Juno Download and Deejayworx.

His debut on Emerald & Doreen, appropriately titled „ First Time“   is a perfectly vibrant & uplifting Disco House killer. The cheerful positive energy of the track is contagious from the very first second combining French House and Italian Disco with a mesmerizing vocal sample, likely taken from Róisín Murphy’s unknown brother:-)
