That’s how Suru Plustwo describes his sound. 

Hailing from London, England with Nigerian heritage, Suru stands out. Never afraid to ‘go deep’ or keep it ‘light and bouncy’, he picks apart and artfully infuses together, all the kinds of music he loves best. Primarily, his musical influence stems from his upbringing in the cultural melting pot, which is London. Vast sounds from across the globe, the Carribean, Africa, India, Japan, Latin America to name a few, soundtracked a rather peculiar childhood. You can hear these influences, ever treacling into his sound today.

Suru has the art of ‘warming up’ a room, down to a tee, and has supported many internationally known acts and dj’s over the years, such as ‘Hot Chip’ (a dj set in Hong Kong), Solomun, Soul Clap, Nicolas Jaar, Jamie Jones, Cassy, Dyed Soundorom, Atjazz, Damian Lazarus, Art Department and Floyd Lavine to name just a few.

Suru serves up a cacophony of sound ranging from deep, melodic  electronic to raw, gritty, sometimes obscure grooves always with a feel good and play-like quality. Suru can be described as a ‘true digger’ with an enviable collection of music, many countless hours spent scouring, studying, discovering and acquiring an arsenal of gems, be sure ready for a musical excursion! If you like dj’s and artists like Four Tet, Ben UFO, Floating Points, Young Marco and Auntie Flo, you’ll surely enjoy Suru Plustwo’s selection.

Agustín Guerra, Argentino, born in Buenos Aires, grew up surrounded by a musically rich environment since most of his family members were musicians or played one or more instruments, but it was not until his adolescence that he began to try to get involved in it.
He started out like the vast majority, together with friends and carrying out projects that were more to have fun with those around him than to share with everyone. It was after a few long years that he had the opportunity to practice professionally as a deejay at BeSide School where he is currently part of the teaching staff.
Several months later and due to our public enemy number one, together with colleagues from BeSide and with the help of artists from the local Barcelona scene, SHEA Radio emerged, where it is currently a technician, radio emerged with the intention of offering a space to any musician / Dj to be able to share their music or sets, broadcasting them live to the world.
It is not until this last radio show number # 025 that Agustín Guerra appears in full action!
