Implicit Promise is the promise of one lover to another, the promise Artificial Intelligence holds for humanity and also the promise that our sense of connection or oneness will be made real.

In our opinion, Haptic is one of the most phenomenal electronic artists to come out of Australia as of late. Boasting an extensive back catalog of collaborations and vocal features with some of the worlds biggest artists in his field, Haptic continues to push the boundaries of genres and styles, mashing his uniquely tasteful vocal soundscapes with hard hitting progressive compositions.

The three originals are in a league of their own and have been doing serious damage around the world as of late. The remix pack on another level to complete the release, spanning countries and continents from Australia to Brazil, Canada and Germany.

A former prominent member of Carbone 14, Seedreak, now at the helm of Magic Vision, is not just a DJ. He also serves as an Artistic Director and event organizer.

A passionate artist, Seedreak has dedicated over 15 years and more than 300 performances to the art of mixing, taking on the challenge of exploring and fusing different sounds. His determination has led him to perform on a multitude of stages, from the most modest to the most prestigious.

Seedreak performed at the SEA YOU Festival, among other great venues, sharing the stage with artists such as BIESMANS, CHINASKI, KARASSIMEON, Lexy & K-Paul, Moguai, Botnek ...

His journey has opened doors to many clubs, from Malta to Saarbrucken (DE), via Heidelberg (DE), Trier (DE), Paris (FR), Strasbourg (FR), Lyon (FR), and Nancy (FR). He was notably one of the residents at the Rafiot Club in Strasbourg and the Kitu Club in Saarbrucken, to name a few.

A new chapter is opening, and Seedreak aspires to further expand his musical horizons and captivate audiences with his inspired creations, deeply reflecting on his personal journey. Expect to be swept away on a sonic journey filled with emotions and surprises.

SEEDREAK: SPÆCIAL MIX 366

Resistor is Shunt Voltage’s debut release on Paisley Dark Records although they have appeared on the three Shelter Me complilation albums which raise funds for homelessness. This release comes hot on the heels of major support from Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy, who included their track Generator on her latest Balearic Breakfast album, Volume 3. She has also been giving heavy play to the bands limited vinyl release, To What Degree/Cowboys, which includes an A Space Age Freak Out remix of To What Degree.
Along with the original, the EP boasts a trio of remixes from Leeds based producers, Cosmikuro who is by now a regular contributer to the label, Paisley Darks very own A Space Age Freak Out, aka label boss John Paynter & Ben lewis and rising stars Adult DVD. Finally, the fourth remix comes courtesty of Swedish producer Mindbender (When Disco Goes Wrong) .
In the words of the band, Resistor came about by trying out some newly programmed synth sounds and FX and mixing with some sequencer riffs. This sound clash eventually filled out to a rough demo which the band tinkered around with eventually adding in a few vocal lines. The title continues their electrical theme and has a neat double edge to it.

She started late as a dj but she was always in love with music.
Began  as a pop or rock dj then she changed her way to electronic 
music until now. She moves easily between dark-disco, indiedance, 
disco, techno or trance , focused always on making 
people to dance and creating  an atmosphere for fun.

As a DJ she has played in some of the best clubs in Spain  as El Sótano, Nicolette Club, Killing Time,,Café La Palma, Freedonia, Sidecar, El Sol, Macera...
She has played in some festivals too  ,  Visor Fest, Vida Festival and Erato Fest.

As a producer she has released some tracks on her own and with
other great djs an producers from Spain like Andy Grey dj, David Van Bylen or Idoipe, and some remixes .
Now she is working with the dj and producer Ivan Smoka and some tracks 
are about to be released by a  international labels very soon.

Respected house producer Josh Butler is back, armed with his brand new ‘Link’ EP on Edwin Oosterwal and Joris Voorn’s legendary Rejected imprint. The EP once again proves Josh’s ability to continuously deliver the kind of high quality tech-house that has entrenched him as an integral figure in the underground UK house scene.

The title track ‘Link’ stays true to Butler’s less-is-more philosophy while also showcasing his incredible sound-design and production know-how. The percussion takes centre stage as Josh brings in conga rolls, a soulful vocal refrain and lush, atmospheric pads to contribute to an inimitable groove. Two distinct mixes of the track, a melodic mix and a dub mix, are generously provided on the EP and both demonstrate the intricacies inherent in Josh’s production.

Rounding off the release is ‘Need Me’, the EP’s deeper venture that combines minimalist instrumentation centred around a grooving bassline, subtly making itself known above the driving percussion. Throughout the EP, Josh succeeds in delivering vast symphonic landscapes within the pretext of measured and characteristic instrumental restraint. Partygoers can expect to hear both sides of the EP receive serious airtime across the club circuit as the Ibiza season kicks into full swing this month.

After exceptional releases on much-respected imprints like Dixon’s Innervisions, Drumpoet Community and Mood Music, Berlin-based artist duo FRANKEY & SANDRINO brings their sophisticated, deep house sound to Kompakt with the HYDRAE EP – three new and highly versatile tracks that prove once more the perfect symbiosis of Frank Beckers’ technical know-how and Sandrino Tittel’s selector expertise from his days as resident DJ at Wuppertal’s famed Butan Club. Both the title cut HYDRAE and b-side buster IZAR feature the expressive, silky synth solos we’ve come to love from the two soundsmiths, embedded in the focussed throbbing of their precision beats. Closer MERGING BLACK sports slightly more jagged contours, thanks to some psychoactive synth sequencing and a howling trumpet –  enriched with Frankey & Sandrino’s stunning sense for dramaturgic refinement. Tulioxi’s „Bring the Funk to the Punk” is an immense tune for all these upcoming hot summer nights. This masterpiece definitely has the potential to become one of the singles of the year. A catchy phrase, a driving acidic synth bassline, moody Balearic pads – you can literally see the hands going up in the air on all the dancefloors of the Earth! But THAT is not everything, ooooohhhh nooooo! ALDA adds some superdry and funky synth bass and hard-hitting drums to turn it into a new wave electro disco classic that leaves you standing on the dancefloor with your mouth wide open and eyes shut to feel and cope with the immense purifying pressure coming from the speakers.
