Sonic 3 Beta (Nov. 3rd, 1993)

I never really liked how the rendition of this in Sonic 3 Complete used Sonic 1 and 2 patches. That hack is long overdue for an update.

I have no idea who composed this music in particular.

also, there's quotation marks in the title because one instrument is different during the second part (it's a trumpet here), because the instrument in the original prototype version was just SCREAMING to be fixed. and so i did it, you're welcome!
