I've spent years going back and forth on my sound as a DJ, but after all that time, I've decided to just strip it back and play what feels right for me (for this alias, at least). This first episode of Under the Hood with Emerald Lotus shines a light on the delightfully musical "Sunflowers EP" on Rosebloom Records, and introduces Lotus as a DJ and host. In Future, a small section will be spent each week on musical analysis, showing a spotlight on why our favourite music makes us groove - and then delivering a DJ set to match whatever has been discussed.
