I wrote this track during a difficult time in my life. I was feeling overwhelmed by all of the obligations I had in my life, and I was contemplating going back on ADHD medication to help me get by. I wrote this song over 4 days and went through multiple changes throughout the process. I got back on meds, I pushed myself to start living healthier, and I put more energy into the things that I needed to.

At the core, this song is about how much we change through life and all of the experiences that come with it. While we may experience change, we will always be the same person deep down. The remixes 'change' the sound up quite a bit, but the idea remains. I could write a whole paper about this project, but I will let it speak for itself.

Valloa took a super chill and atmospheric downtempo approach to the track which is super crisp. Really talented and underrated artist.

Mikerohdos approached the track by making an epic, yet calm and peaceful realm for your brain to wander. This remix is one of my favorite tracks I have heard in a long time

gNat wrote a wubby track with some sick sound design. I really like what he did with the vocals.

SLAVE took my original track and beautified it immensely. I absolutely love the arps, and I have a deep appreciation for the work he put into this remix.

Mandy Wallstead did a phenomenal job with the art and I will cherish it forever. It shows a butterfly that has just emerged from its reflective chrysalis, staring back into what it once was.
