Sometimes inspiration strikes me spontaneously, often sparked by conversations within my community.

Lately, I've been pondering the question: What are my talents and gifts? I struggle with articulating this because embodiment resides beyond the boundaries of conventional colonial language. My work is somatic, not purely intellectual.

Healing is not just about addressing external injustices; it's also about tending to the emotional and psychological wounds that often accompany them. And they run deep.

I've honed the art of holding space for the taboo, the dark, the painful, the shameful, and the shadowy aspects of marginalized human experience. I don't live or dwell in these shadowy spaces, but can sit with myself or others comfortably boundaried, providing compassion and strength to witness other's shadows without internalizing them or losing myself in hyper-empathy.

This ability grew out of necessity, stemming from repeated personal encounters with systemic oppression and profound isolation. I've navigated periods of being unhoused and experienced serious health issues without a safety net. I learned to witness my own intense suffering without internalizing these challenges as personal failures, shame, or unworthiness. Its powerful to look in the mirror and say to myself, "You don't deserve this pain, but thank you body for helping me endure it. I love myself."

Through my own healing journey, including transformative experiences with plant medicine, I've cultivated this gift --creating containers that are strong, resilient, and unwavering—an environment where other's wounding and deeper insight can emerge.
