We’re proud to present Destinations 01: Japan, the first edition in our globally inspired compilation series. This release showcases six melodic progressive house tracks from artists who draw influence not only from the genre’s deep emotional grooves but also from the spirit, scenery, and culture of Japan.

Each track offers a unique perspective, blending sonic storytelling with vibrant atmospheres:

A lush tribute to the night view from Nagasaki’s Mount Inasa. Soaring pads, piano plucks, and night-infused synth stabs create a cinematic experience.

Undoubtedly securing a well-earned spot as one of Emergent Skies’ staple releases, the melodic and haunting 'Into the Unknown' by Gerome & Cassandra Grey is now being given 3 freshly brewed and diverse twists on the original.

Now an omnipresent name in the Trance scene, Mhammed El Alami starts things off with an easy going yet energetic production, making use of atmospheric vocal slices and euphoric plucks, rightfully staying true to the original. 

Taking the energy up a notch is rising up-and-comer Alex Wright, utilizing a chunky gliding sustained bassline, driving percussion, and a chill inducing rendition of the lead melody for a more peak time oriented remix.

Lastly but certainly not least, prolific Trance champion Dennis Pedersen, delivers a more melodic take on the original. Maengo is the 2nd release on the Premier League Recordinsg label. Taking the classic trancesound from 1998 and transporting it into 2019. The track is released by Marco Svarda under his Maerin-alias, which he uses for the most classic influenced of tracks. Maerin-releases are quite unique, and aren't released more than once a year.

UK-based producer Alex Wright gives the track a modern update, with a beautiful melodic trance piece, emotional piano chords and still energetic. A hybrid track between progressive trance and uplifting, this is how that would sound!

Always a producer to keep an eye on, Georgian heavyweight Nuera probes direct into monster-mode with a debut original 'Revise' for our new sub imprint Soho Opus, having mixed out countless progressive trance beauties over the years, Nuera's productions have always been of a high-quality, that have perpetually had an underlying ebbing flow and sense that shards of the channels could at any minute spiral off into a mist of endless gloomy vibes, and on Soho, he completely revels a new side of his sound.
