Live hardware session @pan d'or festival 2021

Live made during Chateau Perché 2023 edition, in the chillout area managed by Glowy Owl
It was supposed to be ambient and finally was a bit more electronic and with drums (to cover the psy-trance scene that was not so far away from the Chillout space). It was a great time and and great discovery inside the chateau perché (somehow like finding a secret level in the party :D :D )
I made 4 quick cut to avoid midi clock jumps that happened and leads to restart the track.

Literature teacher at day and self confessed hardware addict when the night falls, Emerging Patterns tries to blend this two side of his personality in the « communication averbale » EP. 
The smooth opening track, « Chaos Probabiliste » sees its almost dark ambient mood totally smashed and dynamised by the osvit remix. The second track, « L’utopie du corps », recorded live at Château Perché festival in summer 2017, invoque Michel Foucault’s ghost alongside 808 toms and exorcises him in Valde Bene’s cathartic remix.

Perchepolis is the collective behind «Château
Perché Festival», we are exactly at the crossroad
between electronic music, events, art and magic.
This year we are launching a special series of 4
tracks extended play records called «Perchoirs»
which means a high place where the birds fancy
sitting.
The general artistic direction we propose is ethnic
and electronic in uenced, on a combination of
percussions, brass and string instruments, resulting
in a timeless eclectic melody mainly oriented with
downtempo, ambient and many other styles.
Few EP’s will be released throughout the year and
will offer several focuses on festival resident artists
and friends.

About:
Emerging Patterns is the project from a self-confessed hardware addict who dives into off-grid music production and live projects.
As an activist in Perchepolis, the crew behind the twisted french festival Chateau Perché, he tries to cross lines between electronic music, ambient and techno or exploring them alternaltively.

This session as been recorded live in one take, with two teenage Engineering OP-Z, two iPads and a 1010music blackbox.
