My name is Emerie and I discovered my love for performing at the age of five. Since then, I have performed at various events such as the Moon Festivals, Lunar New Year, Fundraising events and more. Through the good and not so good times in my life, I’ve learned to deal with my situations through music. Why do I gravitate toward this coping mechanism? I believe that different music covers every spectrum of our emotional colors of the rainbow. Music is the voice of my soul. Like the battery is to the energizing bunny, music is to me. I do not only sing because it is my passion. I sing with the purpose to touch people's hearts. I want to do more with my music than just sing. I want to bring love and light into this world. I sing to be heard and be other people's voice who may feel unheard. I desire to inspire. I sing for empowerment and to create a better, healthier and more positive environment. I sing for change!
