EzzyDj & Dj Sorcha present their newest B2B series called Roots inspired by the sounds of Africa

A new collaborative series between ezzydj ( ZA-NL) and Dj Sorcha (UK). This collab is named Roots, an ode to the Roots of human kind, the continent of Africa. Its beauty has the tendency takes a visitors breath away. Mighty and majestic continent. Vast and rugged, harsh and awesome landscapes towering above all things, unparalleled ocean scapes and sea life. The  continent is encircled by the Atlantic and Indian ocean with the Mediterranean Sea in the north. A continent that been through the best and the worst man and nature could throw at it and yet its inhabitants stand tall and proud of this wonder and miracle. Musical celebration in the form of afro house. For myself this will never stop being home, this is where life began for me and up until today I do not see it as anything else. I wish to thank Dj Sorcha for undertaking this musical journey with me. This collaboration has been made with love for the Motherland. We hope that you can enjoy it with us. First in the series.

My first passion was dancing, being involved with various classes, and a squad dancing for Kent until my teens. I have a thirst for all kinds of music, paying close attention to the likes of Annie Mac, Claptone, Above & Beyond, and well anyone I had the pleasure to catch live.
I started to follow my dream in May 2019, recording my first mix after returning from Defected Croatia that year. I've been building in momentum ever since. Producing mixes, which span various styles of House, Disco, and any wild cards I happen to find.
