thinking of my Grandpa Harvey. wish I can hear him say, "well hello Miss Emy!" With such a jovial smile. he was always a steady presence. the way he moused his hair and done a fancy suit. the way he teased me and the other kids. his sweet devotion to Grandma. they'd sit in the back seats whispering. I got to witness his beauty 🩷

My grandpa died. And he was the biggest part of my life. And he passed away last year. And the grief and regrets I have still sit with me. He’s in heaven and I still feel like he is watching over me. Protecting me. Love you pappy, hope heaven is as beautiful as it sounds 😇

Just thinking of my kid self, that is long gone and so different from how I am now. God how I miss how happy I use to be. I wish I could hug the child version of me
