This is my first upload. The text is from the Bahá'í Writings which has inspired me to put it into music.
 
Love is the one means that ensureth true felicity both in this world and the next. Love is the light that guideth in darkness, the living link that uniteth God with man, that assureth the progress of every illumined soul. Love is the most great law that ruleth this mighty and heavenly cycle, the unique power that bindeth together the divers elements of this material world, the supreme magnetic force that directeth the movements of the spheres in the celestial realms. Love revealeth with unfailing and limitless power the mysteries latent in the universe. Love is the spirit of life unto the adorned body of mankind, the establisher of true civilization in this mortal world, and the shedder of imperishable glory upon every high-aiming race and nation.

When I read this I immediately had to put music to it. I love how ‘Abdu’l-Bahá uses a bird to symbolize science and religion, and what is really keeping them a part is ignorance when it should keep them together with knowledge. 

"We may think of science as one wing and religion as the other; a bird needs two wings for flight, one alone would be useless. Any religion that contradicts science or that is opposed to it, is only ignorance—for ignorance is the opposite of knowledge."

My name is Emilia and I'am 27 years old. I started posting recordings when I was 17, mostly creating music and being inspired by the prayers and writings of the Baha'i faith. Recent years I have been creating more of my own songs, meeting musicians and collaborating in projects and also singing covers from great artists. This page will become a mixture of my learnings and continued learning with music. I love creating music and strive to use it as a way of expressing myself honestly and being vulnerable so that each person will be able to connect with themselves and with each other.
