This is a rework of an old track. I wanted to make parts of it a little more upbeat and also add some orchestral elements. 
A little nod to the last UK bank holiday before the 'C' word (I'm not saying it yet!!) and the end of summer 2023.

Lost Treasure

Line Up is a track inspired by the delicate and telluric universe of a composer I deeply admire: Craig Armstrong. While he is known to the wider public for his film scores (Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, Love Actually…), it is his solo albums that reveal a unique depth.

What I’ve always loved about Armstrong is his string writing, his use of electronic textures, and his ability to create a sound world that is both rhythmic and contemplative. With Line Up, I wanted to pay tribute to this aesthetic, blending synths, strings, and brass in a cinematic atmosphere.

This is the last one of 44 songs I wrote with my mom’s Spanish guitar in my university years, songs I’ve been arranging and posting to SC for the last 6 years (I’ve skipped 4 of them which will become a conceptual album soon).
