The title came about as I wanted to write a Rock track that would blow the speakers and wake everybody up then lyrically it became a kind of social commentary and a call for world leaders to make positive change meanwhile everybody is doing the very best they can in their situation and living in hope”.

This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. Pierre-Auguste Renoir (February 25, 1841 to December 3, 1919) was a French painter originally associated with the Impressionist movement. His early works were typically Impressionist snapshots of real life, full of sparkling color and light. By the mid-1880s, however, he had broken with the movement to apply a more disciplined, formal technique to portraits and figure paintings, particularly of women. Renoir mastered the ability to convey his immediate visual impressions, and his paintings showed great vitality, emphasizing the pleasures of life despite the financial worries that troubled him. Several of his masterpieces date from this period including Luncheon of the Boating Party.  Renoir had his first attack of rheumatism in 1894, and, as the attacks became more and more frequent, he spent more and more time in southern France, where the climate was better for his health. About 1899 he sought refuge in the small village of Cagnes; in 1907 he settled there permanently, buying the estate of Les Collettes, where he spent the rest of his life. In 1910 he was no longer able to walk. Although his infirmity became more and more constraining, Renoir never ceased to paint; when his fingers were no longer supple, he continued by binding his paintbrush to his hand.  Several months before his death, Renoir was able to go to Paris, where several friends wheeled him for the last time through the Louvre to view the masterpieces that he had venerated throughout his life. Renoir died in Cagnes-sur-Mer on December 3, 1919 at the age of 78.
