These songs were discovered on a foggy morning in 2001. 
A family’s cat had passed away and a decision was made to bury him in the backyard, beneath the dogwood tree. The Father drives his spade into the damp soil with a stoic hand, until a soft but unmistakeable ray of light begins to shine from beneath the sundered earth. Though the dawn breaks as he brushes aside the dirt, his world is enveloped in a delirious silence. No birds sing, no crickets chirp, and no frogs croak. The Father gazes below at an eerily luminescent tape, perfectly preserved and glowing from within a rusty tin box.
This tape is no longer buried 5ft beneath a dogwood tree in rural South Carolina. 
In its place rests a beloved family pet.
