when my parents would take me and my sister to the beach, we’d watch DVDs of music videos from shania twain and the dixie chicks. we would watch it over and over and over again so all of those songs are engraved in my memory. this song particularly is special to me bc it’s my mom’s favorite dixie chicks songs. her father served in the korean war and passed away when mom was 6 years old.
