"Hades," which Emily wrote in about 20 minutes, metaphorically compares the Greek Myth of Hades and Persephone, to her real life experience being deceived by someone she had trusted. She wrote this song as a way of reminding herself that it was the right thing to walk away and never look behind.

"Maybe," a duet with Troy Kemp, paints bittersweet memories of a deep connection. The ballad reflects on how we can't change our past, but our past can change us - loss can help us recognise and reaffirm our own value.  

Emily explains, "If you're with the right person, they'll celebrate you. They won't question whether or not you're their perfect fairytale. They'll see your imperfections, and they'll love you all the more."
