a few months ago, near the start of lockdown, i had a FaceTime session with two amazing writers, the majority of which was spent reflecting and mourning over all of the loss the world has experienced due to COVID-19. the song we wrote, “what i’ll remember,” is about that loss and trying to hold on to what is beautiful in moments of grieving. in light of the battles being fought right now, i will be donating all of my proceeds for this song between: the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund- to ensure patients receive the proper care and those working on the frontlines possess the proper equipment to treat those in need around the world. And the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund - to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on Black communities in the United States and support the fight for racial justice, equality, and an inclusive society.

i want to acknowledge that this is a time that we need to hear from Black voices more than any others, and by no means am i intending to raise my own above that. this release date was locked in weeks ago and unfortunately it was out of my control to change. i will continue to use this space to share information and art from Black creators and hope that together we can continue to support and strengthen this movement. lots of love and power to you all.
