After a brief hiatus, Phasmid returns with his latest venture - Unidentified EP. With four moody extraterrestrial tracks, this release marks a new direction for the Leeds based producer - an emotive, high energy journey showcasing spacious, clean-cut sound design. The second track, 'Observer', is a deep melodic electro track. With soaring synths and rich, impactful bass, this track provides moments of quiet introspection and driving euphoria alike.

Look Busy RhythmCast 064 - DJ Whipr Snipr (Nerang Recordings)

For the past four years, DJ Whipr Snipr has steadily propelled his sound and label Nerang Recordings into new realms. With help from collaborator and fellow Berlin producer, Jaundice, the track “Spicy Schawarma” enters an acid-bathed dream, with soft vocals and a nuanced beat to push it all forward. Much like the diversity in shows Whipr Snipr throws around Berlin, the track showcases this same range in taste in “Spicy Shawarma,” and it provides for an absolute banger.

Too Rough 4 Radio returns with a much anticipated TR4R#10. Following the past releases “Rough Cuts” & TR4R 02, this new compilation continues it’s path on crafting not only absolute bangers, but covering a wide range of genres— from breaks to techno to electro, and all flavors of house. Recruiting 28 artists from around the world, such as DOS, Slim Steve, Peer Du, Tommy Vicari Jnr just to name a few, there is no mistaking the prowess of production level here. Arguably, the most ambitious ‘Cuts’ thus far, the appeal to any taste is delivered here. Take Etur Usheo’s breaks anthem “XTC Groove,” or Clocked Devices’ electro punisher “Grow Box,” there is nothing left uncovered here.
