Since Richie Hawtin played this track in his Boiler Room Set on Ibiza, many people have been asking about this Joyce Muniz collab. The track features fresh vocals by Bam (formerly known as MC Baby Bam) from the legendary 90ies hip-hop group The Jungle Bothers (Native Tongues/Zulu Nation). The beat is based around a sample from Kraftwerk's 'It's More Fun To Compute,' and for this version we've actually got full approval from Kraftwerk (yes - guess what). Following on from his 'Tired Voice' EP Reset Robot returns to Poker Flat Recordings with a new three-tracker entitled Duplicate. 

The man behind the moniker is Dave Robertson, Portsmouth based DJ/producer who has been honing his sound for some time - a perfect blend of crafty house music and slick tech vibes. 

With this EP he flaunts a lot of his signature sound - the title track grooves along nicely around a shuffling beat before building and dropping with maximum effect. 

Hyra has a more classic techno feel, the blippy groove compliments a Detroit-eque pad, before the track locks into its main section accompanied by a wobbly synth. 

Service, the third track sits somewhere in between the two - a thick synth bassline and propulsive rhythm track creating a heavy dance-floor heater.

Former Bar25 resident, acclaimed DJ and producer and Sender Records boss Benno Blome is back with a brand new EP that features two of his originals and two fine remixes from Okain Haus and Mihai Popoviciu.
Benno Blome is a boundary pusher who always diversifies with each new release and every DJ set. He has put out great EPs like Braitbendnoodles and the opulent after-hour head-movie "Eramina" and here impresses with a deep and infectious house sound. 
Opener Abotha is a nice and steamy cut with soulful pads layered up over soft rubber beats. Little melodic hooks pull you in and vocal murmuring add a steamy sense of human emotion. 

Romanian Mihai Popoviciu has had great success either solo or with the likes of Jay Bliss and has released on labels including Fear Of Flying, Hudd Traxx, Bang Bang and Diynamic. His remix here is slightly more uptempo and slick, with simmering and shimmying chords rolling over the face of the infectious beats. 

Also remixing is Frenchman Okain, who is a Fabric and Watergate regular and who puts out music on BPitch Control, Cadenza and many others. His version of Abotha is more tech, stripped out and freewheeling, with airy hi hats and thin synth lines meandering about to really hypnotise mind, body and soul. 

Benno’s other original is LED, another syrupy, gloopy, perfectly soft and inviting, warm and romantic house groove with gentle synth stabs, smeared pads and lots of late night soul in its bones. Great vocals again act as a nice human hook and it doesn’t take much to imagine the floor going wild for this one. Once again then Benno Blome proves he is a talented producer with many great ideas and more than the skills to pull them off.
