New private playlist

Last year, I became one of six male runners-up for an international film scoring competition, submitting the track "Warriors of the Sky", and gaining a scholarship for a weeklong film scoring summer program based in Madrid, Spain.

This program's centerpiece was a series of masterclasses in orchestration, conducted by Pete Anthony, one of the top orchestrators in Hollywood. It also involved presentations on film music history by silent film composer Neil Brand, as well as talks on business, marketing, PR, etc., by people working in the Hollywood film industry.

All the while, we were given an assignment to write a piece of music, orchestrate it, and submit it to be professionally recorded by a 40-piece symphony orchestra.

This is the final result.
