Toronto Producer/Artist E.M. LOURDE is the archetype of the uncompromising artist dedicated to creation. Born 1992 the St. Lucian Scarborough native immigrated to Canada August 2001. Earl experienced Kweyole music from Sesenne Descarte, Bob Marley and Roman Catholic Hymns curated by his grandmother. Fascinated reading short stories, traditional Kweyole folk tales; Earl wrote his first short story at 8 years old. During a Canadian Stage Company initiative at age 16 Earl learned to perform his poetry. With support and encouragement Earl began composing his own music combining distinct influences. Currently his genre blending music expresses raw emotion a fearlessness of vulnerability and immortal transparency within Toronto’s vibrant music scene.
